Just a quick post today as I finished off some flying units. Specifically a Ringwraith on a Nazgûl, and 5 Great Eagles join the ranks. In the recent GW made to order I picked up the older (metal) Witch King on
Nazgûl, so this is just a regular Ringwraith. I will have another Ringwraith just like this before I'm done, I just have to paint some Gondor Guards of the Fountain Court first (hoping to knock these guys out before KublaCon).
More to come!
You nailed the Eagles, I really like them. Blessings upon your brush that you have success in finishing those Guards.

Heya Kevin! Thanks, got those guards assembled (finecast, ugh) and primed ... now for the fun part!
DeleteHey Jay I actually painted my first Nazgûl in the Witch King on my blog today, I know you want to check it out😉
DeleteCheers
Kevin
Oh YES! Off to check that out :-)
DeleteThey all look great but I especially like the Nazgul.
ReplyDeleteGotta love Nazgul :-)
DeleteI want to signup for your WOTR game but looks like it's already full :( I will come hang anyway to see if a spot can open up...
ReplyDeleteHey! I should be able to fit you in easily enough. Wasn't expecting it to fill up so quickly.
DeleteCool thanks, Looking forward to it!
DeleteNo problemo --- I generally can always fit 1 or 2 extra people in my games. Always good to have a buffer :-)
DeleteAre you using your modified WOTR rules or are you sticking with the printed version?
ReplyDeleteUsing my modified rules.
DeleteThese are looking great Jay! I really like these models. I definitely have to dig them out of my cabinet of shame ;-)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Jan
Thanks Jan! They are a bit of a pain to store, but fun to have flying around the battlefield :-)
DeleteI recently discovered your blog while looking at (massive) War of the ring armies.
ReplyDeleteWent through all of your LotR posts in amazement.
I was already working on a Gondor army since the beginning of the year but this gave me a lot of motivation and new projects as well !
