These guys will do "triple duty" in that they will be used for three different theaters of operation: Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and for a fictional engagement between the US and Russia in Europe. As a result, Dan did the bases brown as at least brown can be found in all three locations.

Great work! I was never a fan of the digital grey pattern and much prefer the old style BDU, DCU, and the new pattern based off of multi-cam but, you guys work it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but it is appropriate for the time frame we are playing --- I guess unfortunately ;-)
DeleteIt's all good
Deletelol ... I wish they wore something else ;-)
DeleteReally excellent work!
ReplyDeleteDo the snipers come with seperate heads? Most of Empress's modern miniatures do...
Yes, I believe so.
DeleteThanks.
DeleteThat'd be great. I think of converting them to Brits. Actually they seem pretty universal in this lying bith. Except the headgear...
Correction -- double checked and no, they are not using separate heads ... apologies!
DeleteA pity, but many thanks for checking again.
DeleteNo problem ... would be hard work to hack them off as well ... oh well.
DeleteGreat painting and good looking troops.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have lots of fun with them (and making fun of the camo pattern) :-)
DeleteExcellent work with the UCP pattern. Your sniper stand highlights why we needed the OCP pattern to replace it.
ReplyDeletelol .. yeah, after taking the pictures I really chuckled to myself as to how the troops with camo all stood out like Napoleonic figures ;-)
DeleteWhat a beautiful job on these troops, great details!
ReplyDeleteMark did a spectacular job :-)
