Not a long post today, we decided to dust off our SAGA warbands and get a few games in - two at a time using 4x4 tables side-by-side. Roy S., Wade S., Dan K. and John L. joined in for the fun. I had my Vikings, Dan brought his Pagan Rus, Roy used his Bretons, John his Normans and Wade used Roy's Anglo-Danes.
Fun was had by all ... four games in total got played through and it was nice to get refamiliarized with the rules again (doesn't take that long to remember - a great thing about SAGA). No specific battle report here ... just some pictures I took through the gaming.
Some gorgeous pictures there, looks like you had fun.

Had a ton of fun - thanks!
DeleteBeautiful armies and terrain Jay, very nice. SAGA is great in that you can not play it for a while and then pick it up again easily.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul. Agree 100% ... I was a little rusty ... but got back on target quickly.
DeleteExcellent looking game; terrain and figures top-notch.
ReplyDeleteJay! Dan from San Jose just steered me to your blog. The big day looks like a blast. Its become our game of choice after a big SAGA event here in the Twin Cities last fall.
ReplyDeleteIf you go to the Pasadena SAGA tourney, you may see a warband I painted- Byzantines: http://twincitiesfieldofglory.blogspot.com/search/label/Byzantine
Hey Monty! Excellent --- Dan is a great guy --- I need to try to get him out to lunch when I'm down that way. I checked out your blog --- great stuff!
