This Hallowed Ground - ACW Rules

These rules are free to download here in PDF format.  You can send any feedback or questions to sotek486@yahoo.com.  I think they are fairly straight forward and combine elements of other systems that I've enjoyed over the years.  Black Powder (generic unit concepts), Bolt Action (orders dice) and Kings Of War (morale) are apparent.


Our last ACW game was played using these rules - if you have not seen the battle report you can check it out here.

I have lots of stuff in the queue to post ... just had to get back from my international travel for work and clear Thanksgiving ... now that is all out of the way I'm back to making lots of progress but also have some time to take more pictures and get some posts done.

    You are really getting into your rule writing Jay with this and your Modern rule set. All great stuff for the wargaming community.

    Do these rules work best with any particular scale? I've been developing a new interest in all things ACW since visiting a very good museum near me recently: http://www.kenosha.org/wp-civilwar/. Thanks for sharing!

      Hello Andrew. I use 28mm which is what all the ranges are designed for --- but with a little math they would work just as well for smaller or larger scales.
