Many years ago I backed the Conan board game Kickstarter. The very talented Mark Brooks painted up figures for the initial scenarios in the book. I'm having him paint figures for additional scenarios and expansions now, but his work is top notch and I figured I would take some pictures to share.
I'll be hosting this game for my group at KublaCon which is coming up this weekend. I will also be running a large War of the Ring game on Saturday, and another War of the Ring game (Fords of Isen) on Sunday. We have many other games that are being run and I plan to take lots of pictures as usual. Stay tuned for a post after I return from the convention.
Ok - on to the pictures ...
A couple of those groups have 15 figures but I just picked 5 at random to show in the pictures. I just snapped this quickly using my phone camera and the light from my painting table.
Those came out really nice. I am jealous of his skin tone ability. I've always struggled with that. Have fun at the con!

Agree, skin has always been my weakest painting area. His use of shading and blending is really good.
DeleteI shalom before the expertise of the unbeatable Mark Brooks...
ReplyDeleteI'm spoiled with great painters like yourself, Mark, and Bohdan :-)
