I managed to pick up a bunch of stuff for this game. All Quiet on the Martian Front has a rocky history due to a mostly unfufilled Kickstarter from back in 2016. Regardless, it is considered to be a great game. New life is being put into with Return of the Tripods, a KS that just funded and shifted to using 3D models.
I've been painting away for a few weeks now working on my US Army force for my first game. Nothing very fancy here. Scale is H.O. (20mm).
Mk II steamer tanks ... I have 86 of these done ...
Mk III steamer tanks ...
1 x Mk IV Monitor tank and 2 x Mk IV tanks ...
Heavy artillery battery ...
Mk II mobile gun battery ...
These have been fun to paint up. Will keep picking away at this force.
Very cool, Jay!

DeleteGreat looking collection. This version of a Martian invasion looks great in AAR'S . Great to know it is being resuscitated.
ReplyDeleteAgree, looking forward to getting in my first game.
DeleteAnother madness kicks off - just sold a load of tripods on ebay for good money- had no idea the kickstarter was in play
ReplyDeleteOh wow! It's coming back now with new life. Someone ran a large game of it at Cold Wars here in the states and it spurred a bunch of interest in it as well.
DeleteThe new sculpts Jay look better than the originals, good to see them back even if I was burnt on the first outing.
ReplyDeleteCrud. Yeah, many got burnt on that KickStarter. Given how many KS I've done in the past I'm lucky I didn't do that one.
