DundraCon 2025 ACW

The DundraCon weekend has come and gone.  I hosted an ACW Fire and Fury game using my slightly modified rules that allow me to play at 28mm using my collection.  This game ran very well and I continue to really love the version 1 rules for F&F.  This game saw the Union pull off a victory.  The Confederates spent too much time moving their reinforcements to try and reinforce the initial push, which allowed the Union to push a reinforcing division into the main line.  Had the Confederates pushed across the northern sector the Union would have had to commit their reinforcements there, and the Confederates would have been able to push the Union back along the main line of advance.

Below is an assortment of other games that ran throughout the weekend.

Not much else to say - was a fun weekend.  Back to the grind!

  1. Great looking ACW game you ran Jay and a good win for the Union too. Great diversity of games on show at DundraCon as well, all look very decent indeed.

  3. Great job with the ACW. looks fantastic. Granted that's it's been like a decade at LEAST since I've attended Dundracon, but I remember it being very lite on Miniature wargames. That seems to have changed. 😁

    1. Heya Stew! Yes, minis used to be just me and our group running a game plus a few others for the whole weekend. This year, from Friday at noon to Sunday evening when I headed home the whole room was packed. It was really awesome to see such a great turnout.
