Another progress update here with many new units ... getting close to game time!
Continental 3rd Light Dragoons.
Lee's Legion cavalry.
Lee's Legion skirmishers. Love these guys with the purple uniforms.
2 units of American riflemen.
American 3pdrs below.
Rhode Island artillery below.
More crown units, just 2 more left to do (will give me a total of 11 British foot units).
Looks like I'll run Guilford Courthouse on December 12th at my place. Lot's more to do but pushing hard to get it all done by then.
Cracking job on these splendid units, love the gorgeous American 3pdrs...ReplyDelete
Thanks Phil! Those 3pdrs are tiny but fun to paint up. Varying the American gun colours to make them look for ragged.Delete
All looks great sir!ReplyDelete
Looking great, hope to see some action with them in the none too distant future.ReplyDelete
Getting soooo close now. One more photo dump with the rest of the American units then it will be game time :-)Delete
Lovely looking AWI figures - and great basing as well.ReplyDelete
Wow! A very nice reinforcement your project, Jay. The brushwork is top-notch, as usual.ReplyDelete
Thanks Dmitry! :-)Delete
More tasty goodness from Casa White 😀ReplyDelete
How many are you planning to play on the 12th?
Getting there :-)Delete
How many players you mean? Well, normally it would be the full crew of 6, but we are under new health orders here. I see Roy and John almost every day so limiting it to just the three of us. Sucks as everyone was able to make the 12th, but such are the times.
Just an idea, but ever thought about making a tutorial videos of your rules you create?ReplyDelete
I've thought many times about it. Projects have kept me very busy, but also the rules only really stabilized to a point it would be worth it during this year (after several years of playtesting and refining). I'm hoping to do a set of videos on how to play in the new year since I'll have all my AWI stuff done and can cover Napoleonic's, ACW and AWI together (which was another reason I was holding off).Delete
Ill be looking forward to seeing it, if time allows.ReplyDelete
Excellent, you are not the first to ask so it's getting about time to do it :-)Delete
