Test of Honour: Samurai, Ronin and Unlikey Allies

I managed to finish my Ashigaru Scout warband (the yellow/purple themed miniatures you've seen me post before).  Since then I've been pinned down getting ready for my Napoleonic game at the end of the month.

Fortunately, the honorable and most excellent Steve Dake has been hard at work getting my primary Samurai warband done, along with the 7 Ronin and 8 Unlikely Allies sets from the Test of Honour miniatures line.  These are all 28mm figures.

The postal service dropped these beauties off to me yesterday and I quickly unpacked them and got to finishing the basing for them.  With that done, here are some pictures of the figures.  These pictures are just from my phone ... so not the best but good enough.

First up is the 7 Ronin all together ...

Below is the full Samurai warband ...

The 8 Unlikely Allies set ...

Closer pictures of the 7 Ronin set ...

Finally the closer pictures of the Samurai warband ...

With the terrain I have completed, my Ashigaru Scouts, and the stuff finished from Steve, I'm all set and can start playing Test of Honour - hooray!

  3. It's great to see you really having the hobby bug on this game and models, it'll be fun to see what your tables will look like 😀
*especially knowing how much the mass lined troop game is your "jam" as it were 😂*

    1. Lol, skirmish games feel weird now, but I'll make do in this case :-)
