Making some more progress on the massive amount of Russian Napoleonic basing I have to finish. Getting a little bit done each day in between my Samurai painting and other distrations.
Below are Russians Grenadiers/Guard infantry.
Here are some Cuirassiers and Hussars.
Trying to keep up a steady pace ... still a lot to finish before Austerlitz is on the table but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I know these uniforms are later than Austerlitz, but this will due. My primary goal with all these units is a massive Borodino game.
Jay, these models are nothing but superb! The painting is exceptional, no, stunning is a much better word. Your basing is excellent. The grass tufts make such a difference, don't they? You need to open a toy soldier museum, sir, so the worshipful public can view your collection at their leisure. I'm a retired guy, I'd be glad to work there:-)
ReplyDeleteHeya Steve! The never ending march of tufts! :-) I do love them ... far better than just using static grass. lol ... perhaps when I win the lottery I can buy a large enough building to display it all ... lol!

The Russians have around 46 units if I recall. Getting there. Mostly cav remains from the pile. :-)
